About Me
Jess Brunelle, LPC
I take great pride in working with individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, a group with which I deeply identify, as well as those from diverse backgrounds facing unique challenges. My focus is on individuals who have triumphed over adversity—whether it stems from childhood trauma, mental health issues, socioeconomic hurdles, or societal pressures. As a relational therapist, I prioritize building a safe and dignified connection with my clients. Many express that they feel genuinely seen and heard in our sessions, which is vital for effective therapy.
Together, we work collaboratively to cultivate a sense of empowerment and choice, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth. I specialize in providing support for Autism, ADHD, OCD, sensory sensitivities, depression, anxiety, and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD). I also work with parents who are navigating their emotional regulation while learning to support their children effectively. My practice includes working with children as young as five through relational play therapy and art therapy, employing developmentally appropriate techniques like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
